AL PASSO DEL LEONE Rosso

Like our white AL PASSO DEL LEONE, the AL PASSO DEL LEONE Rosso, which was launched in 2009 as our first Demeter-certified red wine, is a strong expression of our commitment to biodynamic winemaking. Today a lot of our vintner partners are interested in organic and biodynamic wine making and shift toward these forms of farming. The grape varieties of their vineyards from all over Alto Adige are combined to this unique Cuvée.

Selected parcels located in Magrè. 230 to 320 metres a.s.l.

Soil

Partially gravely,with a high content of limestone

Vinification

Malolactic fermentation, in large casks (approximately 12 months).
Spontaneous fermentation and maceration in stainless steel tanks

1- 4 years

Lageder family

The Lageder family has worked in wine production for already six generations. Today, the winery is run by Alois and Alois Clemens Lageder.
