A vision becomes a place. An idea becomes reality. Alois Lageder’s Tòr Löwengang. Both daringly avantgarde and pared down to essentials, the newly constructed buildings unite the highest ecological and technological standards. Functionality for wines of the highest quality.

Completed in 1996, the new low-energy-consumption building houses the winemaking facilities and offices of the Tòr Löwengang winery. This building, moreover, exists in perfect harmony with the historical residence. Rigorously planned and constructed on ecological criteria it is a healthy, attractive and stimulating place both for human beings and for wine, and the basis of an excellent working environment. A Gesamtkunstwerk which has found recognition from myriad points of view. Alois Lageder has turned to the use of various forms of innovative energy-saving at Tòr Löwengang, making use of locally available alternative energy sources, from radiant low-temperature ceiling heating to heat recycling and solar collectors for hot water.
