Alois Lageder has been promoting contemporary art for several years by commissioning artwork inspired by his vines, of which the works of art become an integral part. He has decided to extend his patronage to the world of music. By the same innovative spirit by which he has embraced new ways in viticulture, he is aiming together with his wife Veronika to spread also in culture the joy of discovering worldsand unusual goals. It is within this objective that the choice of supporting contemporary music has been taken, by commissioning each year a composition.
